FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for stimulation of gingival processes in rats with acute periodontitis. Method comprises simulating to experimental animals acute periodontitis by mechanical action of suture of suture material applied on necks of lower incisors and immersed into gingiva, wherein experimental animal parenterally administered is dissolved in normal saline sodium chloride peptide H-Ile-Leu-Pro-Trp-Lys-Lys-Pro-Trp-Lys-Pro-Trp-Arg-Arg-NH2 in dose of 500.0 mcg/kg of body weight, seven times every 24 hours between injections, starting from the first day after simulating acute periodontitis.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables stimulating recovery processes in the gingiva, normalizing its structure and functional activity in the acute periodontitis.
