FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for protection of single-phase transformer against electrical damages in windings comprises measuring transducer and reacting element, in which the length of the winding of the measuring transducer with the same turn diameter along its longitudinal axis is equal to the length of the transformer coil, and the pitch of each coil thereof is determined from the relationship E=f(yk) and relationship Ti=TminEi/Emin, where Ti and Tmin – pitch of i-th turn and turn at end of measuring transducer winding, a Ei and Emin – electromotive force, inducted in the winding of the measuring transducer with constant pitch Tmin protected transformer short-circuited turn with i-th turn coordinate and turn at measuring transducer winding end.
EFFECT: improving reliability of the single-phase transformer protection device operation against electric damages due to elimination of dependence of its sensitivity on the location of closed turns in the protected transformer windings.
