FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of metal material with non-phosphate coating for cold plasticising. Disclosed is metal blank with non-phosphate coating for the plastic treatment process and method for its production, including preliminary treatment of the metal surface of the workpiece material, coating layer is applied by dipping metal material into coating agent and applying lubricating layer. Coating agent is a non-phosphate coating application agent containing at least one borate selected from sodium tetraborate and a hydrate thereof, in range of 3.5 to 4.5 g, sodium nitrite in range of 0.2 g to 0.45 g and calcium hydroxide in range of 80 g to 90 g per 1 l of water.

EFFECT: production of metal material of workpiece with non-phosphate coating for process of cold-heading plastic treatment, capable to prevent phosphating, to improve productivity and to ensure reduction of ecological safety at formation of lubricating layer.
