SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport machine engineering. Reinforcement assembly for a sill area of a pick-up truck bed, spanning a pair of frame rails, comprises a fastener and a unitary one-piece reinforcement. Fastener is adapted to be secured to one of the frame rails. Unitary one-piece reinforcement includes a continuous tubular receptacle for the fastener, a transverse wall that engages a laterally extending surface of a transverse beam disposed adjacent the truck bed, a pair of spaced-apart bridging walls extending between the receptacle and the transverse wall.
EFFECT: improved rigidity and reliability of the truck bed.
