SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the screw propulsion unit. In a screw propulsor containing a rotor with a screw crest, a screw ridge of the rotor is made in the form of a cylindrical spring with an elastomer coating of the peripheral part and with internal thread entering into threaded contact with the screw of the rotation mechanism. Body filling the space between the spring and the screw can be hollow and serves as a stator. At that, cylindrical spring and screw can have carbon-plastic design.
EFFECT: extension of the screw propulsion unit functionality is achieved.
