SUBSTANCE: self-adhering cleaning block is disclosed. In some embodiments, the self-adhering cleaning block includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a handle extending out from a part of the second surface, where the material composition of the block may be essentially uniform, and where the material composition of the block may further comprise a non-ionic surfactant and a liquid component. In addition, a cleaning article including a self-adhering cleaning block is described. Method is also disclosed. In certain examples the method comprises mixing a non-ionic surfactant and a liquid component to form an essentially uniform cleaning composition, and then extruding, pressing or casting the cleaning composition to form a cleaning block having a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a handle extending out from a part of the second surface, wherein the handle is integrated with the block.

EFFECT: technical result is providing a self-adhering cleaning block, which is able to remain attached to the bowl even after multiple washes.
