FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, to measurement of characteristics of steam-liquid flows under pressure in free, as well as containing permeable nozzles from solid particles channels. Determination of true volumetric steam content is carried out by method of cutoff of control volume of flow with subsequent condensation of steam phase and filling of space released by measured volume of additional cooling water. Control section is cut off by synchronous overlapping using high-speed valves. Simultaneously, main flow is redirected along bypass line. Further, the control section is forcedly cooled to complete condensation of the steam phase. Volume emptied is filled with measured volume of additional water. Further, on the basis of the made measurements and corresponding equations of mass preservation, the true volumetric steam content in the reference volume is determined at working pressure.
EFFECT: enabling elimination of the effect of inter-phase mass transfer in steam-liquid flows under pressure on the measurement result.
