FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of products from high-temperature composite materials. According to the method, fibrous polymeric material with a high coke residue is pressed and carbonized by non-oxidative annealing. Pressing is carried out with uniform increase in temperature in the range of 150–1400 °C and an overpressure in the range of 0.05–50 MPa for 5–50 hours. Polymer material is used in the form of fibre segments, tapes or fabric 0.02–1.0 mm thick, from which multi-layer preforms of the required dimensions are pre-formed.
EFFECT: technical result is to simplify the method and increase its efficiency.
