FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to hand-held tools for laying samples of fabric and photographic paper into the loose soil to determine the biological activity of the soil during scientific research. Device consists of two rectangular plates – base 7 with needles 8 at the end and the movable pressure with corresponding needles locking holes 10, and safety cable 12. Base plate is rigidly attached with U-shaped handle 1 with stop pin 5 and axis 2 where U-shaped plate retainer 4 with protrusions at the ends, double-arm lever 3 and a spiral spring is located. Spiral spring is attached to the two-armed lever and to the U-shaped plate retainer. Curved link is attached to the two-armed lever, passing through the through guide cone attached to the base plate inside the U-shaped handle, and the upper locking hole in the movable pressure plate. Groove is made in the upper part of the base plate. Safety cable is fixed at one end in the hole on the movable pressure plate, and the other in the hole on the handle.
EFFECT: with such an implementation, high-quality embedding of samples into loose soil is provided, as well as the convenience of performing work on laying the samples.
