SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing bituminous binders, which can be used in construction of roads, and is determined by the need to reduce energy consumption for their production. Method of producing bituminous binder for road surfaces, comprising mixing and homogenisation of bitumen, block polymer of diene with styrene, industrial oil, in which mixing and homogenisation is carried out at 110–200 °C during recirculation of liquid medium in recirculation circuit, including bituminous melting pot, pump and chamber of cavitation-cumulative treatment, in which hydrodynamic cavitation is performed by means of ultrasonic action with oscillations with frequency of 18–68 kHz, pulse-width modulate in frequency range of 10–400 Hz.

EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the time to achieve quality indicators by ultrasonic intensification of the mixing process, as well as expanding the temperature range of performance of polymer-bitumen binders.
