FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended for protection of transformer against short circuit in secondary winding circuit, from overloads in primary winding. Safety device has housing, on one side closed by contact cap, on the other side – plate with conductive element. Inside there is an electromagnetic release device with a magnetic conductor, a coil spring-loaded relative to it by an anchor which holds the armature of the guide. Anchor is arranged with the possibility to open the displaced spring from the axial line of the body, to move perpendicularly to this axis. Shunt control unit consists of parallel connected self-healing safety device and at least one varistor. Free disengagement mechanism is arranged opposite said release mechanism and comprises guide element with bushing fitted therein by disconnecting spring and damping spring arranged there inside. Through the holes in the bushing, the guide, the anchor, the coil core and the cap, a thread is stretched, one end of which is connected to the damping spring, and the second end is fixed outside the cap. Actuation cap in the form of a rod with a longitudinal hole inside is installed in the contact cap. Movement of the indicator is ensured by the action of the pushing tube put on the thread and the sleeve moved in the anchor hole when the hook is hooked.

EFFECT: technical result is simple installation and operation of device, high information value of indication, reduced dimensions.
