SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer equipment. Method includes the following steps: periodic measurement of communication channel quality and its comparison with the permissible level; exchange of data on new adaptation parameters and transfer of communication channel to new adaptation parameters; connection to multichannel surveillance receiver coherent receiver antenna; successive adjustment thereof to standby communication frequencies; spatial interference spectrum estimation; calculation of averaged communication channel parameters; received signal strength measurement; calculation of the actual attenuation coefficient of the signal by the D-ionosphere layer; calculation of absorption coefficient; update of the value of the expected power of the received signal; load of a prediction into a data link simulator; transmission of the signal of the used modem transmitting data transmitting the text data sequence through the simulator; error calculation in test sequence on its length, sufficient to ensure required statistical accuracy of evaluation; ranking the list of standby frequencies by comparing BER values thereof.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of frequency adaptation systems.
