FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used for formation of loading in biological and household waste water treatment plants, in particular, at post-treatment stage. Fibrous carrier for biomass immobilization contains a braided core. Core consists of two noncorroding metal wires and two synthetic threads. Said threads are doubled to each other, with fiber elements arranged along the longitudinal axis of braided core to fasten fibrous elements in the form of radial lengths of fibers from trotyed polystyl yarn of rectangular cross-section. In the attachment points, the fiber pieces in the middle part are simultaneously woven and secured between two non-corrosive metal wires, each of which is duplicated with a synthetic thread.
EFFECT: invention increases strength and increases degree of development of contact surface of fibrous carrier with microorganisms, which increases its dirt-carrying capacity and increases degree of treatment of treated waste water.
