FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods and devices for processing threads, in particular to flatten the fiber, which are filaments of unidirectional fibers, by means of air flow, as well as vibration and mechanical processing, and can be used in production of composite elements in various fields of engineering, in particular, in shipbuilding, aircraft building, automotive industry, construction, railway transport, wind power engineering, and space industry. Method of flatten bundle comprises continuous or periodic movement of finishing bundle, during which is carried out vacuum treatment, rolling and heating of bundle. According to the disclosed solution, the vacuum treatment is carried out by covering the bundle with at least one air suction hole, wherein prior to and/or after bundle vacuum treatment, bundle is subjected to vibration treatment, and bundle is heated by at least one infrared emitter. Method for production of unidirectional web includes additionally use of untwisted fiber consisting of at least two bundles, and after vacuum treatment or vibration treatment, or rolling said bundles are butt-jointed to form a unidirectional web. Plant for production of unidirectional webs produces the web with the above method.
EFFECT: providing balanced distribution of loads on the bundle during flatten due to sequential vibration, air and mechanical treatment of the bundle at simultaneous provision of uniform heating along the whole length of the bundle treated with the finish coat.
