SUBSTANCE: proposed technical solution relates to power engineering. Flaring method of fuel combustion consists in the following: electric arc discharge is created in ignition zone, fuel-air mixture is supplied into ignition zone, fuel-air mixture is ignited in ignition zone, diffuse electric discharge is created, is exposed to diffuse electric discharge to the boundary zone of flame formation and flare combustion of the fuel is performed, at that electrostatic potential of the boundary zone of flame formation is maintained at the specified level.

EFFECT: higher stability of ignition and combustion of fuel in flare combustion.
