FIELD: combustion apparatus.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in thermal power plants, in boiler houses, etc. to provide independent ignition and stabilization of combustion of pulverized-coal and coal-water fuel mixtures without using additional ignition fuels. Electro-ionisation ignition device with electric plugs for flare combustion of carbon-containing dust-air mixture comprises a cylindrical housing having an ignition chamber, dust duct of the dust part of the carbon-containing dust-air mixture and the primary air duct, adjacent tangentially to the housing and perpendicular to the axis of the housing, unit of rod electrodes for generation of electric diffusion discharge, inserted into air duct of primary air. Inside the ignition chamber, opposite to the input of the dust part of the carbon-containing dust-air mixture, there are electric cups, inside the housings of which there are electric heating elements, dust part is supplied directly from the dust duct to the contact zone with the heated surfaces of the electric modules, with the coverage of this contact zone by the zone of washing the electric modules with the primary air, passed through ionizing area of electric diffusion discharge, with further mixing of heated dust part of carbon-containing dust-air mixture and ionized air.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure high-quality mixing of chemically activated flows of dust part of carbon-containing dust-air mixture heated by electrofuse and primary air ionized by electric discharge.
