SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing autologous human monocytes for the therapy of burn wounds. Method involves separating venous blood monocytes by gradient centrifugation (on a ficoll gradient and a percolol double gradient). That is followed by stimulating 100 mcM non-hydrolysable adenosine analogue 5'-N-ethylcarboxamidoadenic in presence of 20 ng/ml of IL-4 and 20 ng/ml of GM-CSF, culturing for 72 h in CO₂-incubator in humid atmosphere of 5 % CO₂ at +37 °C, after which it is frozen in a serum-free Bambanker medium with subsequent storage for 24 hours at a temperature of -80 °C and then in liquid nitrogen at -196 °C.
