FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing coal foam. Method involves reverse flotation of coal foam with water with separation thereof into flotation tailings and flotation cryolite, which after condensation and filtration is returned to electrolytic production, flotation tailings leaching to obtain a precipitate and a fluorine-containing solution, wherein leaching of flotation tailings is carried out with slightly alkaline solution of caustic soda at temperature not exceeding 80 °C, for 2.0÷4.0 hours. Precipitate after leaching is directed successively at the stage of condensation, filtration and drying to obtain a coal concentrate, after filtration, the solution is returned to a operation of precipitate condensation, and the fluorine-containing solution obtained during flotation tailings leaching is taken to the step for obtaining a fluorine-containing material and then returned to electrolytic production.

EFFECT: obtaining fluorine-containing compounds which are returned for electrolysis, and a coal concentrate which can be effectively used in cement production as a burnable additive.
