NEEDLE FOR INSERTION OF IMPLANT AND METHOD OF ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/34

Abstract RU 2685765 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to needle (1) for insertion an implant into a patient's body and a method for preparing it. Needle has receiving part (5) formed in hollow body (2) of the needle with the possibility of an implant in it. Needle comprises sharpened end part (3) formed by cutting end of hollow needle body (2) and having first chamfered surface (9a, 9b), adjoining to outer side surface of hollow body (2) of needle and located at specified angle (12) to axis of needle body (2), and pair of second skewed surfaces (13a, 13b) adjoining first skewed surface (9a, 9b), symmetrical relative to point (14) and the axis of needle body (2) and located at angle (15) to the axis of needle body (2) exceeding a predetermined inclination angle (12) of the first skewed surface relative to the axis of needle body (2). Outer edge (16b, 17b) of pair of second skewed surfaces (13a, 13b) is made in form of cutting edge bordering with tip (14). Inner and outer edges (10a, 11a, 10b, 11b) of the first skewed surface (9a, 9b), as well as inner edge (16a, 17a) of the pair of second skewed surfaces (13a, 13b) are made in the form of non-cutting edges. Method for making needle (1) comprises a step of preparing a hollow needle body (2) having a lumen embraced by a side wall. Method of making needle (1) comprises a step of forming receiving portion (5) in the hollow needle body (2) to receive an implant therein. Method for making needle (1) comprises a step of creating a sharpened end portion (9) in hollow needle body (2) by cutting end of hollow needle body (2) to form first bevelled surface (9a, 9b), adjoining to external side surface of hollow body (2) of needle and located at specified angle (12) to axis of needle body (2), and pair of second skewed surfaces (13a, 13b), adjoining first chamfered surface (9a, 9b), symmetrical relative to point (14) and the axis of needle body (2) and located at angle (15) to the axis of needle body (2), exceeding a predetermined inclination angle (12) of the first skewed surface. Outer edge (16b, 17b) of the pair of second skewed surfaces (13a, 13b) is made in the form of cutting edge bordering with tip (14). Inner and outer edges (10a, 11a, 10b, 11b) of the first skewed surface (9a, 9b) are made in the form of non-cutting edges and internal edge (16a, 17a) of the pair of the second skewed surfaces (13a, 13b) are made in the form of non-cutting edge.

EFFECT: technical result is implant non-destruction with introduction and conservative implantation into user's body.
