FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: optically controlled switch comprises: a control light source, a photoconductive semiconductor element and a coplanar waveguide line, wherein the control light source is configured to irradiate the photoconductive semiconductor element, coplanar waveguide line consists of grounding sections and central conductor, which end points are intended for connection with signal transmission line, wherein the grounding portions are located on two sides in the lateral direction relative to the central conductor and are separated from it by the photoconductive semiconductor element material, wherein photoconductive semiconductor element has at least two states: state of dielectric with low electrical conductivity (off state) with no control light flux and the state of the conductor with a relatively high electrical conductivity (the switched on state) with a controlling light flux.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of losses, cost, power consumption, geometrical dimensions and in improvement of insulating characteristics of key in millimeter range of signal wavelengths.
