FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave radio engineering and concerns an optically controlled switch. Switch comprises a control light source and a waveguide structure. Liquid-water structure is made from an iron-yttrium garnet film placed on a gallium-gadolinium garnet substrate and has antennae. Waveguide structure film is horseshoe-shaped with rounding inner radius equal to its width. Control light source is arranged so that the radiation direction is oriented perpendicular to the film rounding area. Antennas are located on the surface of the iron-yttrium garnet film near its edges. Antenna length is a multiple of the width of the film.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of controlling the propagation of the magnetostatic wave when the orientation of the external magnetic field is changed and the magnetization value is changed.
