FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery, and can be used for stabilization in the atlanto-occipital articulation in various pathological states of this localization. Fixation block is introduced between an occipital bone and an atlas and a fixation block is fixed on an occipital bone and an atlas. First groove is formed in the first condyle of an occipital bone, a second groove is formed in the second condyle of an occipital bone, a third groove is formed in the first side mass of an atlas, a fourth groove is formed in the second side mass of the atlas. Fixing unit is used to form the first and second grafts. First transplant includes the first upper part and the first lower part. Second transplant includes the second upper part and the second lower part. First top part of the first transplant is congruent to the first slot, the second top part of the second transplant is congruent to the second slot, the first lower part of the first transplant is congruent to the third slot, and the second lower part of the second transplant is congruent to the fourth slot. After that, the first transplant is inserted with the first upper part and the first lower part respectively into the first slot and the third slot. In the second graft the second upper part and the second lower part are inserted into the second slot and the fourth slot respectively.
EFFECT: method provides reducing intraoperative injuries and preserving motion volume in the cervical spine by removing a pathological focus of the craniovertebral articulation area and anterior atlanto-occipital stabilization from one access in one operation.
