FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device for C1-C3 vertebrae front stabilization comprises an attachable metal plate including the first locking fragment with the first opening and the second opening, geometrically conjugate with the first locking element and the second locking element, respectively. The plate also includes the second locking fragment with the third opening and the fourth opening, geometrically conjugate with the third locking element and the fourth locking element, respectively. The plate also includes a connecting fragment located between the first and the second fixing fragments. The device comprises a support member including the first support zone located towards the first locking fragment and the second support zone located towards the second locking fragment. The support member is connected to the attachable metal plate in the connecting fragment area. The first locking fragment is completely congruent with the C1 vertebra front surface, from the side of support member location. The second locking fragment is completely congruent with the C3 vertebra front surface, from the side of support member location. The first support area is completely congruent with the bottom surface of the C1 vertebra. The second support area is completely congruent with the top surface of the C3 vertebra body.
EFFECT: increased reliability of C1-C3 vertebrae fixation and significant reduction of surgery invasiveness, elimination of cervical spine motor activity restriction compared to traditional rear occipitospondylodesis.
