FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vehicle interface system, particularly to prediction of use of a situational interface of a vehicle. Such result is achieved due to that the vehicle interface system includes an interface configured to display icons indicating the selected functions of the vehicle, as well as a controller programmed to generate an estimated value for each of the functions based on the situational variable including the location of the vehicle and/or the speed of the vehicle, and/or information on previous use of function, and/or predicted final position of vehicle, as well as display one icon and hide other icons based on generated estimated values.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a flexible system for displaying vehicle functions to a user to prevent driver distraction when driving a vehicle for unnecessary options.
