FIELD: calculating; counting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a network interface for a computer system and data transmission control. Method of obtaining data includes receiving several frames of data from external network through network interface and transmission of each of data frames from network interface to receiving buffer distributed in main computer memory through internal system bus, wherein the network interface specifies distribution of data frames in the receiving buffer without interference from the main computing system, transmitting each of the received data frames from the network interface to the receiving buffer using the write-back protocol, in which obtained data frames are sequentially recorded in the range of continuous memory in the receiving buffer and the received data frames are recursively rewritten by the receiving buffer without confirmation of reading from the side of the main computer system.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of exchange of dedicated control data between network interface and main computer system.
