FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multilayer coating film and coated article. Multilayer coating film consists of a metal-based coating film 15 and a color-based coating film 14. Covering film 15 on metal base is applied on covering film 14 on color base, which is located on surface of coated article. Light reflection coefficient at light reception angles 15° and 45° when forming solely the color coating base 14 on the surface of the coated article is 2 % or less when measured at wavelength of 450 nm to 700 nm inclusive. Coefficient of light reflection only for coating film 15 on metal base at light reception angle 15° ranges from 20 % to 50 % inclusively when measured at wave length from 450 nm to 700 nm inclusive, and reflection coefficient of light at light reception angle 45° makes 2.5 % or less when measured at wave length from 450 nm to 700 nm inclusive.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a multilayer coating film with high-quality color tone, and the coating film reduces the probability of non-uniformity of color without significant reduction in film thickness variability during painting, has a uniform hue, remains unglazed and transparent and has a color depth.
