Vehicle braking system includes a working braking element to be controlled by a vehicle driver, hydraulic brake device provided for one of front wheel and rear wheel and configured to generate hydraulic braking force in accordance with operation of operating brake element, and an electric braking device provided for the other of the front wheel and the rear wheel and configured to generate an electric braking force in accordance with the operation of the operating braking element. Hydraulic braking force depends on working fluid pressure. Electric braking force depends on electric motor motion.
