FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry and can be used in creation and operation of underground gas storages (UGS). UGS well completion and operation method consists in drilling a productive formation to the roof, lowering and cementing the production string and drilling the well in the payout bed. In upper part of productive formation and in zone of weak permeable interlayer a cavern is created, in which suspended cement bridge is installed. Shank having a filter frame in the upper part and a perforation are lowered into the well. Cavity is filled with gravel of different fractional composition. Tubing string is equipped with an upper valve and a bottom-hole check valve. Gas is injected from the flow into the well via the production string into the lower part of the productive formation through the lower perforation of the shank at the open-back check valve and the closed upper valve. Gas is extracted simultaneously along the tubing string and through tubular annulus between the tubing string and the shank from the upper part of the productive formation through the filter frame at the open upper valve and with the closed bottom valve. Inoperative filter frame is replaced if necessary.

EFFECT: invention ensures increase in the UGS well productivity and improvement of its operation efficiency.
