FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and more specifically to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used in outpatient and inpatient dental practice. Method of prediction of dental implantation results is performed as follows: before dental implantation and 3 months after the implants are installed, the patient is sampled with mixed saliva 1.0 ml into a sterile test tube, centrifuged for 10 minutes at 3,000 rpm, 0.02 ml of supernatant of centrifuged mixed saliva is applied on defatted slide glass, installed in strictly horizontal position along axes X and Y relative to horizon with formation of standard drop of round form with height of 1.0 mm and diameter of 4–5.0 mm, it is dried in for 24 hours at temperature of 20–25 °C. Characteristics of facies are determined by light microscopy: severity of individual zones of facies (Z), structural index (SI), uniform distribution of crystalline and amorphous elements of facies (R), mineralizing potential of saliva (MPS), width of intermediate zone, number of radial cracks in peripheral area of saliva droplets (PASD), degree of destruction of facies (DDF) and severity of edge zone (Ez) in points in accordance with criteria of assessment of mixed saliva according to Table 1. If patient receives 21–30 points before and 3 months after implantation, the process of repair is concluded, which is associated with a good prediction of dental implantation. If obtaining 21–30 points to 14–20 points in 3 months after implantation, the conclusion is that the prognosis is generally favorable, but an additional therapy aimed at intensifying reparative processes of bone tissue is required. When obtaining 21–30 points before and ≤13 points in 3 months after the implantation, the unfavorable prognosis, continuation of inflammation and absence of bone repair and osteointegration of the dental implant into it are stated. Advantages of the method are non-invasiveness, simplicity of the method, safety of research in humans.
EFFECT: using the method enables not only to assess the effectiveness of the dental implantation, but also to track the completion of the integration of the dental implant into the bone, as well as the dynamics of the given process.
