FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition for polishing and/or cleaning teeth and use thereof. Disclosed composition contains acicular crystalline calcium silicate as the first abrasive in amount of 5 to 70 wt. %, wherein said acicular crystalline calcium silicate is characterized by a ratio of the length of its particles to their width from 3:1 to 20:1 and is wollastonite, and also contains polishing material selected from hydroxylapatite, feldspar, pumice, iron mica. What is also presented is the use of said composition for polishing and/or cleaning natural or artificial teeth.
EFFECT: use of said composition for polishing and/or cleaning teeth provides sparing treatment of teeth with simultaneous good results of cleaning.
