FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to antimicrobial oral compositions containing water-soluble zinc salt in amount ensuring effective antimicrobial action, surface-active substance reducing astringent flavour being chosen from various salts: alkali or ammonium alkylsulphoacetate, dialkylsulphosuccinate, dialkylsulphosuccinamate of alkaline or mixed, as well as orally acceptable carrier. The weight ratio of surface-active substance reducing astringent flavour and zinc ions is within 2:1 to 6:1.
EFFECT: reduced astringent flavour of zinc salts ensured by introducing particular surface-active substances, improved flavour of the composition and possibility to use various aromatisers in such composition.
