FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to heat treatment of bearing rings. Method of steel ring bearing processing comprises stepwise heating in vacuum in closed chamber b, further nitrogen cooling under pressure in closed chamber and three-time tempering. Steel used for making rings contains, wt%: tungsten 8.5–9.5, chromium 4.0–4.6, vanadium 1.4–1.7, carbon 0.7–0.8, manganese ≤0.40, silicon ≤0.40, nickel ≤0.35, molybdenum ≤0.3, phosphorus ≤0.03, sulfur ≤0.03, iron – the rest.
EFFECT: technical result of proposed solution consists in improvement of quality of bearing ring and manufacturability of treatment.
