FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental surgery, neurosurgery, and can be used to simulate degenerative-dystrophic changes of the intervertebral disk. Surgical approach to the spinal column of an experimental rat animal is performed. Experimental animals used are male Wistar rats aged 4–5 months who undergo dorsal access to the spinal spinous processes at the lumbar level. Performing an expanded laminectomy with vertebral facetectomy LVI, then a yellow ligament is resected, a dural sack and roots are exposed in a vertebral canal, after which the wound is layer-by-layer closed.
EFFECT: method provides obtaining a physiologic model with primary degenerative-dystrophic changes in the intervertebral disc ensured by destruction of the fibrous ring and prolapse formation accompanying intervertebral segment instability.
