FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to experimental neurology, neurosurgery, and can be used for studying degenerative spinal injuries. Method for simulating damages involves puncture of intervertebral disk of rats with Wistar line needle performed percutaneously into intervertebral disk. Needle puncture is made from lateral side of intervertebral disk lumbar, penetrating through a fibrous ring in centre of nucleus pulposus. Then needle lumen over its entire length of introducing a light guide diode laser, through which tissue is exposed to intervertebral disk. Laser radiation used has power 3 W, wave length 970 nm, with a continuous mode of exposure for 5 seconds once. After operation, rat is kept in natural environment.

EFFECT: method provides development within 28 days of damage to extracellular matrix of the intervertebral disk degeneration and that subsequently allows for testing of new treatments and prevention dorsopathies in humans.
