FIELD: motor vehicle industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for vehicle bonnet locking. Device includes a control cable, a controlled cable, a housing, a hollow cylindrical bushing connected to the controlled cable, cylindrical plunger connected to control cable, and at least one locking ball. One cylindrical channel is formed in the housing, bounded at the ends by the first flange equipped with a hollow cylindrical protrusion with formation of cylindrical cavity between the protrusion and the housing, and the second flange having through axial holes. Cylindrical plunger is made with possibility of longitudinal movement inside the cavity of the cylindrical projection of the first flange, through the axial hole of which a control rope is laid. Cylindrical sleeve spring-loaded on the side of rope laid through axial hole of the second flange is made with possibility of longitudinal movement inside the cavity formed between cylindrical ledge of the first flange and the housing. Plunger side surface and cylindrical bushing inner surface are made with circumferential lateral groove. Cylindrical projection of the first flange has a through transverse hole. Cylindrical sleeve is made with possibility of fixation by means of a locking ball placed in the above hole when the cylindrical sleeve and the plunger are located so that the transverse groove of the bushing is opposite to the hole, and transverse groove of plunger is shifted relative to them, and with possibility of release from fixation and with possibility of movement when cylindrical bushing and plunger are located so that their transverse grooves and hole are opposite to each other.

EFFECT: simplified design and reduced overall dimensions.
