FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment of vehicles, preventing their unauthorized use or theft, and can be used as an additional anti-theft device acting independently or together with the locking bolt of the standard ignition lock on the steering shaft of the vehicle to prevent its rotation. Steering shaft interlocking device 1 comprises coupling 2 with at least one slot 3 fixed on steering shaft 1 of vehicle and means of locking rotation of steering shaft 1 arranged in housing 4. Means of blocking rotation of steering shaft 1 includes key cylinder 6 interacting with flexible rod 7 connected by the other end to locking rod 8 with the possibility of movement of rod 8 into slot 3 of coupling 2. Location of slot 3 of coupling 2 opposite locking rod 8 is made with corresponding position of standard locking of steering shaft 1 by crossbar 9 of ignition lock 10, note here that slot 3 of coupling 2 is made in the form of blind hole open in one side with depth H larger than maximum dimension of cross-section d of locking rod 8. Edge of blocking rod 8 adjoining its end facing groove 3 of coupling 2 can be equipped with groove 11. At the same time inner surface of slot 3 of coupling 2 near its outlet outside can also be equipped with groove 12 forming sharp edge interacting with groove 11 of locking rod 8.
