FIELD: monitoring systems.
SUBSTANCE: object of the invention is a method of monitoring vaned wheel (22) of an aircraft engine, comprising: reading at least one timed signal associated with moments of passing blades (23) of the vaned wheel in front of sensor (21); determining current phase of flight of aircraft; wherein for each flight from a series of aircraft flights, at least part of each time signal is matched with a predetermined flight phase; and for each blade (23), for each flight and for each predetermined phase of flight, average position (24C) of blade top is determined, called equilibrium position. Invention also relates to an apparatus for realizing said method. Advantage of invention is diagnostics possibility on blades by means of fewer sensors and low computational power.
EFFECT: invention relates to method and device for aircraft engine impeller monitoring by measuring equilibrium position.
