FIELD: diagnostics of turboset blades.
SUBSTANCE: method is realised as described below. Pulse contactless sensor is installed inside the turbomachine casing. Fixed exciters, corresponding to root section of blades are placed at the impeller disk or turbimachine rotor. Root pulse contactless sensor is installed opposite to movement of exciters at the fixed part of turboset. Time intervals between pulses of peripheral and root sensors are measured at the beginning of operational mode for each blade. Measurements are carried out during a certain period of time. Measured values of time intervals are averaged and averaged basic time intervals are calculated for each blade. These time intervals are used as basic or reference positions of the peripheral parts (ends) of serviceable blades. During the next operation period, the current values of time intervals between sensors are measured and obtained results are averaged, accordingly, for each blade. Then averaged time intervals for each blade are compared to the corresponding averaged basic time intervals. After this, occurrence and progress of damages or defects of the corresponding blades can be detected basing on value and speed of divergence of comparison results.
EFFECT: enhancement of accuracy and reliability of diagnostics of damages and defects of turbomachine impeller blades.
