FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating. Method involves hot rolling of material for sheet electrotechnical steel with oriented structure to produce hot-rolled steel sheet, cold rolling of hot-rolled steel sheet, performed once, or twice, or more times with intermediate annealing to produce cold-rolled sheet steel with final thickness of sheet, formation of an exposed portion of a steel substrate having a continuous or intermittent linear shape in the sheet lateral direction by applying a resistive film comprising a light-sensitive resin, creating a pattern in a resistive film by photoexposure and developing a resistive film, electrolytic etching to produce a groove, primary recrystallization annealing and subsequent final annealing, wherein etching is carried out at current density ρ 12 A/cm2 or more with respect to the exposed area of the steel substrate, wherein ρ is defined as ρ=I/S, where I is the current supplied to the electrode, and S is the surface area of the exposed area of the steel substrate.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced losses of iron.
