SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anisotropic electrical steel sheets. Steel sheet has a surface in which a groove is formed, which extends in the direction intersecting the rolling direction and in which the direction along the depth of the groove corresponds to the direction along the thickness of the sheet. Average value of the depth of the groove in the direction of the thickness of the sheet in the central part of the groove in the longitudinal direction of the groove is taken as the average depth D of the groove, a straight line in the inclined part of the groove, which connects the first point, at which the depth of the groove in the thickness direction of the sheet is 0.05 × D, and the second point, in which the depth of the groove is 0.50 × D, is taken as a straight line to the end of the groove. Angle formed by the surface of the steel sheet and the straight line end of the groove is taken as the first angle, and the average value of the width of the groove, which is the length of the linear segment connecting two points at which the depth of the groove in the thickness direction of the sheet on the contour of the groove in cross section in the direction of the width of the groove is 0.05 × D, is taken as the average width W of the groove, the size ratio A obtained by dividing the average depth D of the groove by the average width W of the groove, and the first angle satisfy the following expression θ < -21 × A + 77.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improving the magnetic losses, improving the adhesion ability of the insulation film and improving the rust resistance at the end of the groove.
