FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for distribution of frozen product. Disclosed is a frozen confectionary product dispenser comprising a reservoir for receiving and storing the dispensed product, an evaporator with a cylindrical cooling element, a movement device comprising a spiral member configured to rotate outside the cooling member relative to its axis so as to advance the product along the longitudinal axis of the cooling element, drive engaged with movement device for its rotation, and dispenser for product dispensing. At that, spiral element has angle of attack α less than 60° relative to longitudinal axis of cylinder. At that, spiral element has from 0.25 to 1.5 turns along the length of cylindrical cooling element. Also disclosed is a method for dispensing a frozen confectionery product using said dispenser.
EFFECT: invention ensures easy mixing and improved distribution of product along the whole surface of evaporator with simultaneous provision of low speed/shear stress that allows to maintain product overrun during its distribution, prevention of accumulation of ice on surface of cooling element and provision of uniform temperature.
