FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Disclosed is a fuel injector comprising nozzle body 102 having one or more nozzles 104, each of which is configured to spray fuel and configured to move to change the position of spraying from a first position to a second position. Fuel injector also comprises needle 110 and injector housing 124. In compliance with this invention, injector body 102 is moved to some axial distance in direction of threaded joint 128, 126 between nozzle body 102 and injector housing 124 to meet injector needle and injector needle. Nozzle body 102 is moved at said axial distance in direction of threaded connection by rotating housing injector 124 to control amount of spraying fuel along a predetermined path. Injector 124 housing is rotated by motor.
EFFECT: invention improves spraying of fuel with an injector, which improves mixing of fuel with air.
