FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed are methods and systems for moving a fuel injector unit injector needle from a first position to a second position to provide first fuel injection in a first position, moving the needle from a second position to a third position to provide a second fuel injection in a third position and moving the needle back to the first position through the second position and providing the third fuel injection in the second position. Thus, three fuel injections can be performed during one cycle of injector operation during one combustion cycle.
EFFECT: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines fuel supply systems.
