SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tool device (1) for connection of plastic pipe or metal-plastic composite pipe to fitting with sliding or pressure sleeve. Device includes housing (2), expansion device (3) for expansion of ends of plastic pipe or metal-plastic composite pipe, slide-out device (4) for pushing-down sliding sleeve or pressure device for pressing pressure sleeve and mechanically actuated drive element (5), which can be actuated with possibility of switching for drive of expansion device (3) or for drive of sliding or pressure device (4). Expansion device (3) and sliding or pressure device (4) are connected to housing (2) and at least partially placed in housing. Switching of drive element (5) between drive of expansion device (3) and drive of overriding or pressing device (4) can be performed by rotation of housing (2) relative to drive element (5). Besides, this invention also relates to application of such tool device (1) for connection of plastic pipe or metal-plastic composite pipe to fitting with sliding or pressure sleeve.
