FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of vibration prevention from action on the air noise structure or dynamic forces arising during operation of noise and (or) vibration-active equipment used on vehicles of different functional purpose (ships, aircrafts, cars etc.), and solves problem of increasing efficiency of local vibration absorber due to reduction of vibration levels by device at low resonant frequencies of damping structure. For this purpose, in a local vibration absorber including interconnected metal mass in form of a metal plate and elastic layer from polymer film between metal plate and frequency f oscillating damped structure, according to the invention, the metal plate has thickness h making from 0.2 to 0.5 of the thickness of the dampened structure, length l, which is determined by value from half to one length of bending wave in metal plate at frequency f, and width b defined by value of not less than 0.1 of its length l. Geometric center of the plate is spaced from the point with the highest level of vibration at a distance not exceeding 0.1 of the length of the bending wave in the damped structure at frequency f. Besides, the polymer film used is a polymer film of polyvinyl acetate having thickness of 0.2 mm to 1.5 mm.
EFFECT: proposed local vibration absorber has high efficiency of reducing vibration levels by device at low resonant frequencies of damped structure with considerable expansion of high efficiency frequency range that distinguishes it from prototype.
