FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building. Vibration absorber comprises interconnected metal mass in form of metal plate and elastic layer. Thickness of metal plate is from 0.2 to 0.5 of thickness of damped structure. Length of metal plate is defined by value from half to one length of bending wave. Width of metal plate is not less than 0.1 of its length. Resilient layer is made of wire and has thickness equal to 5–20 thicknesses of metal plate. Metal plate and wire in resilient layer are made from material identical to material of damping structure. Metal plate is connected with damped structure through mechanical fixation installed in geometrical center or at corners of the above plate.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of reducing vibration levels at lower resonance frequencies, longer service life in aggressive media.
