Bed provides postural support for user and comprises headrest, having adjustable height, backrest having an adjustable inclination angle for the back position of the user in an inclined position, and support for shoulder belt located between headrest and backrest. Headrest, backrest and support for shoulder belt can be configured to form a gap passing between headrest and backrest and separating said headrest and backrest when they are installed in elevated positions, and can be configured to form a substantially flat sleeping surface consisting of a backrest and a support for the shoulder belt, without forming said gap, when the backrest is adjusted to a flat position, in which the inclination angle is 180°.
