FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: transformable armchair or couch contains a boxy base supporting multiple pivotally interconnected frames including a specific frame (designed so that to enable only direct or indirect supporting of the seat cushion on one of its sides and, in combination with the other frames, supporting the mattress on the other side) and mechanisms for displacement of the frames and the back and the holding support relative to each other and to the base between the stable couch or armchair configuration (wherein the frames remain inside the base where they form a cavity for the collapsed mattress placement) and the stable bed configuration (wherein the frames stretch ahead becoming aligned for a horizontal surface formation, the back positioned under the bed; additionally the armchair or couch contains a stable inclined configuration wherein the back is inclined more backwards while the specific frame is placed in one of the following positions: continuing more forwards or inclined upwards; the back backward rotation is prevented by means of a tang bumping into a low friction bearing; the tang is positioned on the base; the back remains on the bearing on the base and, consequently, rotates relative to the specific frame, leading to the stable inclined position.
EFFECT: possibility to configure a stable inclined position between the couch or armchair positions.
