FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, specifically to production of tetrapeptides based on human C-X-C-chemokines, and can be used in medicine for treating wounds and inflammatory conditions of skin or mucous tissue and cosmetology for skin care. Method includes producing tetrapeptides IEKM, VEKF, IEKI, IQKI, IKKW, IKKV and IKKL, which can be in form of free acid and contain L- and/or D-enantiomers of amino acids. Obtained tetrapeptides can be conjugated with a carrier protein or modified by C-terminal amidation or N-terminal acylation.
EFFECT: invention provides preparing tetrapeptides exhibiting wound healing and regenerative activity in relation to skin or mucous tissue.
