Said plastic bag includes a lower zone with a closed lower part, including a bottom, and an upper zone with an open upper part having the possibility of closing, wherein the density of holes, defined by the ratio of the total area of all holes in the area to the surface area of this zone, in the lower zone is greater than in the upper zone, so that it is possible to obtain in these zones different characteristics of the gas medium inside the package. In addition, described is a method of using such a plastic bag.
